Publication Ethics
Publication Ethics
IJRDO Publications has a strong commitment to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and will take all possible measures to prevent publication malpractice. The policies are based on the 'Principles and best practices' of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors and editors may refer to COPE's official resources for detailed guidance:
Ethical Oversight and Responsibilities
All submitted manuscripts must adhere to the internationally accepted ethical standards. Editors, reviewers and authors are required to be ethically responsible in their research, writing and publication. Plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, and unethical practices in research are all unacceptable.
The editor's job is to review the papers only on the basis of their academic merit, originality and relevance. Even when a manuscript has been submitted with prior ethical approval, if the editor believes there are potential ethical concerns the issue will be thoroughly explored in line with accepted ethical standards.
Research Ethics
The publisher is dedicated to uphold standards of research integrity and ethical behavior. Authors should perform and report research ethically, with proper approval and informed consent when necessary, and with respect for the rights, privacy and confidentiality of all research participants.
All research involving human subjects, personal data, or other ethically sensitive topics must follow guidelines established by the institution, country and international levels. The publisher abides by the rules and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Handling Ethical Concerns
The editorial team may refuse to publish a study at any point in the publication process if it is suspected to be unethical. In these cases may referral be made to the relevant regulatory and/or governing body for further investigation as appropriate.
IJRDO Publications are not directly involved in any institutional issue but ensures that complaints are addressed if needed, to the relevant authorities. Authors are encouraged to fully cooperate with all reports of ethical issues.
Author, Reviewer, and Editor Responsibilities
Research involves ethical standards that must be adhered to by the authors and their work must be original and properly cited. They must report on any conflicts of interest and that adequate approvals (in the case of clinical or animal trials, ethical committee approval) have been received.
Reviewers should give fair, non-discriminatory, confidential and constructive criticism, and should not use information in an unpublished manuscript for their own personal gain.
Editors have a responsibility to ensure fairness, confidentiality and integrity in the peer review and publication process.
